degrees of rewards OR punishment

According  to God’s Holy Word, the Bible, when we die and leave this world, we go  either to Heaven or Hell. (Luke 16:19-31, Hebrews 9:27  And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:)  According to Jesus and others writers in the Bible, there is only one  way to Heaven, and that is thru forgiveness in Jesus Christ. (John 14:6,  I Timothy 2:5, Acts 4:12) Those without that forgiveness are destine to  eternal punishment in Hell and later the Lake of Fire. But there are  also degrees of reward in Heaven and degrees of punishment in Hell,  depending upon what the person had done in this life. (James 3:1) A few  Scriptures about this subject are below.

The Bible teaches that there are degrees of rewards in Heaven
Matthew  6:19-21 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and  rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up  for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth  corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where  your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Matthew  16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his  angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
Revelation 22:12  And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
1  Corinthians 3:8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and  every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

The Bible also teaches that there are degrees of punishment in Hell
Matthew 10:15 It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
Mark  12:38  And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes,  which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the  marketplaces, 39 And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the  uppermost rooms at feasts: 40  Which devour widows’ houses, and for a  pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.
2  Peter 2:21  For it had been better for them not to have known the way  of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy  commandment delivered unto them.

Choose  your eternal destination wisely. Remember that none of us are perfect  (Romans 3:23), and we are all incapable of going to Heaven on our own.  But God has made a way. (Proverbs 28:13) Through Jesus Christ, His  perfect life, sacrificial death, and resurrection, (John 14:6) we can go  to Heaven (John 3:16)
If  you live for yourself, are in rebellion against God, and love the  pleasures of this world, your eternal destiny will not be pleasant.  However if you turn to Jesus Christ for forgiveness and turn from your  sin you will receive rewards in Heaven.
