LOVING PEOPLE TO HELL
Christ spoke of loving our friends, neighbors, even our enemies. But in this world today, it is considered loving to not offend anyone.
Scripture is clear that because every one of us has done evil (and born in sin), we all deserve to go to Hell. (Psalm 14:3, Romans 3:10) The only hope for any of us, is through Jesus Christ and His perfect Sacrifice. (John 1:29)
Are we showing ‘worldly love’, by refusing to ‘offend’ anyone with the truth and the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Are we responsible for helping to send people to Hell, with our politically correct silence?
When we die, and enter into eternity, there are only two places to go. (Matthew 25:46) The choice is up to us. We can spend eternity with God in Heaven, or go to Hell, which is a holding place until the final judgment. (Note 1) At the Great White Throne judgment, Hell will give up the dead for final judgment. (Revelation 20:11-15) All those that have not turned to Jesus Christ for forgiveness (in this life-Hebrews 9:27), will be judged by their works and be cast into the lake of fire, to suffer for ever and ever. (Revelation 21:8) The way to Heaven is not complicated, (Note 2) and our decision in this life, determines our eternal destiny (Hebrews 9:28).
If we tell others of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and they refuse it, their blood is on their hands. But, if we refuse to tell others of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and they go to Hell, their blood is on our hands. (Note 3)
I can not emphasize enough, to try and reach people for Jesus Christ. Luke 16 tells of the Rich Man and Lazareth. In Hell the Rich Man was in burning torment, there was not even a drop of water, to ease his torment. (Note 4)
Never be afraid to tell others of the Love of Jesus Christ, politically correct or not. A little bit of discomfort here in this life, can save souls from everlasting, eternal punishment. (Note 5)
In His Service
Note 1 Jesus spoke of hell in (Luke 16:22-24). It is place of burning torment.
Note 2 Acknowledge that we have done wrong and sorrowfully turn to God for forgiveness in Jesus Christ.
Accept the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ as payment for our sin (evil deeds).
Make Jesus Christ the Lord of our lives and live a life that gives honor to Him, the One True Creator God.
Note 3 Ezekiel 33:3-11 says that God has no pleasure in the destruction of evil people, but would rather they repent and turn to Him. But He also declares that if we are given the task to warn people of coming destruction and don’t, their blood is on our hands. Mark 16:15 'And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.'
Note 4 God created mankind to live forever (eternal life). We can follow God’s plan and go to Heaven, or we can follow any other plan and enter into eternal punishment. (John 14:6) When we pass from this life, there is no more decision, no second chance. (Hebrews 9:27)
Note 5 People are often reached in different ways. Trust and listen to the Holy Spirit for what to do and what to say.
Psalm 14:3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
